Zášť / The Fury (1991)

Elena se probouzí jako upírka. Patří teď Damonovi. Zatímco ji lidé v městečku oplakávají jako mrtvou, ona v noci loví v temném lese. Elena si vzpomíná na svou lásku ke Stefanovi a městečko čelí dalšímu zlu.

Zlu starému, mrazivému a nelidskému. Zlu schopnému obrátit všechny psy ve městě proti svým majitelům. Zlu schopnému si podrobit a kontrolovat přírodní živly silou vlastní vůle. A tohle Zlo je zaměřeno na Damona, Stefana a obzvláště Elenu. Teď je to jen na těchto třech upírech a Eleniných kamarádech, aby zastavili sílu, která je připravena zničit Fell's Church a jeho obyvatele.

Vrací se mocný nepřítel z Damonovy a Stefanovy minulosti. Tohle je poslední bitva, a jediný způsob jak ji vyhrát, je obětování Eleny.

Elena: "I heard you two fighting, and I came to help you. And then you wouldn't even let me kill him."
Stefan: "Yes, why didn't you? It would have been the easiest thing to do."
Damon: "Maybe I don't like things easy."

Matt: "I always knew there was something about you. I told myself it was just because you were from another country."

Stefan: "I told you, we're hunters. Killers. You're the sheep; we're the wolves. And Tyler has been asking for it every day since I came here."
Matt: "And you're not even sorry? You don't even regret it?"
Stefan: "Why should I? Do you regret it when you eat too much steak? Feel sorry for the cow?"

Meredith: "Maybe this is the time to tell us the whole story, Elena. Like all those minor details you left out the last time we asked you for the whole story."

Bonnie: "I'm supposed to leave Damon alone; I'm supposed to leave Alaric alone... Are there any guys I'm not supposed to leave alone?"
